Dirty Devices Concludes Indiegogo Campaign for “Delta: Accessible Machine Control For Everyone” After Overwhelming Response

Dirty Devices today announced the successful conclusion of its Indiegogo campaign for Delta: Accessible Machine Control For Everyone, marking a major milestone for the company and underscoring strong demand for a more accessible approach to machine control.

The campaign officially closed on October 10, 2024, after raising $173,000 from 227 backers, exceeding its original $10,000 funding goal by more than 1,700%. Delta reached its funding goal in under nine minutes following launch on September 10, 2024, reflecting immediate enthusiasm from the community.

The response to Delta went far beyond our expectations,” said Tim Wagner, Founder of Dirty Devices. “What became very clear, very quickly, is that there’s a large and underserved segment of the market eager for a practical, affordable way to take on bigger and more complex earthwork projects. People want tools that save time, save money, and lower the barrier to entry without forcing them to adopt complicated workflows.”

Delta was created to deliver real-time elevation feedback directly to machine operators in a simple, intuitive form factor. By focusing on ease of use and affordability, Dirty Devices aimed to open up machine control to contractors, owner-operators, DIYers, and property owners who have historically been priced out of traditional systems.

Throughout the campaign, feedback from backers reinforced the company’s core belief that accessible machine control fills a meaningful gap in the market. Many supporters cited the ability to work independently, reduce rework, and approach larger jobs with confidence as key motivators for backing the project.

With the Indiegogo campaign complete, Dirty Devices is now focused on fulfilling rewards, continuing product development, and scaling production of the Delta platform. Insights gathered from early adopters during the campaign will directly inform future refinements and expansions of the system.

The enthusiasm and engagement we saw during this campaign validated why we started Dirty Devices in the first place,” Wagner added. “Delta is about empowering people to do better work, on their own terms, with tools that meet them where they are.”
